Here we go again with contract disputes at beginning of college football season. Disney stations.

Just curious what you pay for Charter?
Youtube TV is 72.99 has all the ESPN channels.
Hulu live is 68.99 has ESPN channels.
Sling TV is $20 or $55 depending on what plan you want.
There are others and I'm sure they are close to or cheaper than Charter. Cancel Charter if you don't like it. There are so many other options today.

You mean cancel Disney.
That’s what I would rather do. This business tactic is such a shitty way to treat a business partner.

Do you live in an area with fast, reliable internet? If so, sign up for a trial to either Hulu Live or YouTube TV this weekend.

Still fricked up none the less. At least give the customers a heads up, bc we’re the ones ultimately affected.

I’ve been wanting to give YouTube tv a try to replace cable, guess this weekend is as good of time as ever.

Of course. Doesn’t change the fact that it’s a shitty thing to do to your business partner.

I was pissed last night when I attempted to turn on ESPN and it wouldn't work. Luckily my buddy as YoutubeTV so I was able to turn on the Florida and Utah game. But seriously wtf Disney stop being so greedy. This shite should always be settled before the season starts.

this is what happens when lawyers are involved; they positioned this for PEAK leverage because nobody gives a shite about ESPN or ABC in the summer.

Why? Serious question. I’ve had Hulu for years, and notice loooots a people like YouTube TV recently.

Why is it better? I might switch.

Do we know which company’s choice was it to stop the programming at the beginning of the UF game?

Did Spectrum pull the plug then or was it Disney that stopped feeding the programming to Spectrum. The timing and short notification is what got me frustrated.

By the way, I still have ABC available. Are y’all sure that ABC is going to freeze?

YouTube TV allows you to stream 4 games at once and choose which one you want to listen to. It’s pretty cool I was messing around with my buddies last weekend and it convinced me to get it

There’s also usually a warning before it happens. I don’t remember it ever happening immediately before kickoff of a major football game or opening weekend of college football. That was the biggest insult.

We’ve had YT TV for 3 years, so didn’t impact me but screw all involved for that crap.

YouTubeTV and Hulu are close in pricing and Hulu will increase next month. YouTubeTV offers more channels and more sports channels and options. IMHO YouTubeTV is easier to navigate and has a better quality picture. Hulu has bundles with Disney and Disney continues to take a financial hit from its recent turn to woke and is jacking up prices everywhere and playing hardball with streaming providers. Reading that Disney/Hulu subscribers are dropping fast so they will jack up prices to offset.
