I could see Love getting them to 8 or 9 wins

Love was 3rd on the depth chart, they would have started Boyle before Love

Of course, even though he was hated by Jordan, Krause put together six championship teams
Krause hired Phil Jackson, traded for Pippen & Rodman........ The Krause hatred is foolish.

Krause was an easy target he had the social skills of a 6th grader he was always tripping over words. Amazed how Reinsdorf escaped so much of the scrutiny over the years, Krause doesn’t dismantle anything without his directive.

And you are right. They would have. But limited off-season and quick training camps. Love wasn't ready.

This year is different. Or they could just go get another vet QB in the summer, if Rodgers doesn't show up. They could get someone like Mariota as a hedge against Love faltering..

Sutton

Hurt nearly all of 2020.
Jeudy was the main guy and had OK stats. Rookie, sure, but so was Justin Jefferson.
Fant and Tonyan were close stats-wise, but Tonyan caught 11 TDs to Fant's 3.

The Packers have no incentive to trade Rodgers

Trading him gets great return. Him retiring gives you nothing but criticism. Those seem like obvious incentives.

I highly doubt that. Without AR I think 5 to 8 wins are more likely.

None of what they could get in return would help them this year

Agreed. But trading him for good value makes them much better three years from now. This season and next season are rebuilding years.

At worst they trade him next off-season and Rodgers loses a year

Maybe. But I think they get much better value in return if they trade him this year.

I will say this , Rodgers is a real good QB but at pressure time he crumbles... on third down last year...

He ranked 4th in the NFL in first downs converted by pass on 3rd down.

That’s not the point...... if he was that good why would he throw into triple coverage at the most important time of the game??????

Elway doesn't deserve to be bailed out again

It's not really getting bailed out if you can persuade multiple Hall of Fame quarterbacks to sign with your team for a late career Super Bowl run. It's more like being a good GM.

Rodgers needs to come out of the closet. It’s 2021.

I move for no more Rodgers threads until he’s traded. Giving the attention whore exactly what he wants.

It must be exhausting to deal with Rodgers' butthurt on a daily basis.

If 100%, they have Sutton who is a 1b to Adam’s 1a at worst.

Jeudy, Hamler, and Patrick. And Javonte Williams may not be the pass catcher out of the backfield than Jones is, but he’s a mean arse runner. Plus Melvin. Broncos are literally a competent QB away.

Fant racks up 1000 yards and double digit TDS with Rodgers.

This.

Also, Peyton Manning didn’t bail out John Elway in the first place. Denver won a playoff game with Tim Tebow in John Elway’s first season as GM. Aaron Rodgers wouldn’t be bailing out John Elway now considering George Patton is currently GM.

That post was all kinds of wrong.
