I just don’t get this virus. I can count the number of health care workers in my hospital on one hand who have gotten it in the almost 5 months we’ve had covid patients.
Many have been tested multiple times for travel/staying with family and have had multiple antibody tests as well. These are people who are literally physically touching covid patients, helping them up, helping them walk, etc.
Yet we’ve had multiple cases with nba guys, mlb guys, nfl players who presumably have significantly less exposure. It’s so fricking weird.

It’s because they don’t take it seriously. I can count the number of times on my one finger that I've seen someone in my hospital not wearing a mask. And just like you we have two people test positive that I know of. And they don’t get it from a patient. I’m not saying it’s serious it’s as in it’s gonna kill them, but without a mask they’re going to get it and spread it. We have to wear a mask at work to insure we don’t get it, IN ORDER TO KEEP WORKING. They should be no different.

Agenda by the left and Chinese. This thing is not dangerous.
I’ve socialised often and been to 4 different states since March and haven’t gotten sick at all. It is overblown

Are you claiming that you have scientific evidence to support that masks short of N110 will prevent you from getting covid?
I have evidence otherwise.
If you want to claim they limit spread, that’s probably a reasonable claim.
Your statement however is both alarmist and unsupported.
The reality is that these guys don’t wash their hands often, are frequently throwing a ball back and forth while many lick their fingers and are in close proximity to each other including on planes.
You can’t back up this having anything to do with masks.

I am claiming that an N-95 mask, which MLB should have no problem providing, significantly reduces their chances. I didn’t say no professional sports player would ever get it. But when they half arse it like they all do they will test positive. And that’s all these leagues need to be “alarmist.” I mean they test these players every day. If my livelihood depended on me not getting the virus, which it does, you bet your arse I’m taking precautions.
