To your point, I double check reciprocity laws in the states I'm driving through on every road trip. Even if I've driven through them in the last year. Just to make sure nothing has changed.
I just wanted to make the point that an "assault weapon" in California, is a standard/basic AR-15 here.
Removable mag- illegal
Pistol grip- illegal
Adjustable stock- illegal
Mag that holds more than 5 rounds- illegal.

There is no doubt, or shouldn't be for any rational individual, that the Bama football team and compliance dept push the envelope far more than most teams. They cover up and turn their eyes to many issues
