I always feel bad for guys like this, world at your feet and it gets taken away like that; sad as hell.
I dont know the whole story at all, his nephew said something about breaking a leg so I imagine his downfall was just bad luck
6 3 220 RB who ran the 100 in 9.5 ?
Thats frickin unreal

I never knew CU had powder blues.

watching his OU highlights reminds me of how The Cecil ran it for those 3-4 games. (speaking of running back who never was)

My uncle is from Mississippi and he still maintains that Dupree is the greatest football player of all-time.

That hit on the Missouri LB and 70 run afterwards was unreal.

As impressive as he is athletically, watching his first ever play as a high schooler, I was impressed to see him switch the ball to his outside arm when he ran that kickoff back. He was really gifted all around.

holy ish.....245 yards and only played half the game on the seasons top rush D

I hate Switzer, but he comes across and an even bigger arse here.

Switzer threw Dupree under the bus after that loss. Just think if a big time coach like Saban or Miles did that today.
Posted on 11/9/10 at 8:05 pm to Atari
Switzer did not know how to deal with a player like him. If he was playing now, the coach would not call him out if he ran over a nun.

I thought the same exact thing. Unreal

They lostto Texas in 83 and he decided he wasn't going back to school because he didn't think he was going to win the heisman? What a selfish bitch. Switzer was right to throw him under the bus. Being talented doesn't give anyone the right to not work hard and be selfish. frick Dupree. He comes off as a total pussy. Probably still lives in that double wide in MS.

Yeah Switzer is a huge douche. Let his ego get in the way.
