Remember driving through Spokane, WA, middle of freaking nowhere. No idea how Gonzaga gets the players they do to come there.

I was watching that Jalen Suggs shot on YouTube and it didn’t even register to me that they were going for a rematch with UCLA…

something about making 7 sweet 16s in a row and not wanting to F that up

Katz didn’t miss a beat finished the interview, they cut to the female announcer and she says “Always colorful” then show him hug and kiss his mom with that mouth

Not sure what was more amazing - the F bomb or that he had his hand placed on him like he was giving life advice to his 12 year old daughter.

I think their next match up is 17 years to the date of Morrison’s tears during that late game collapse

That was a fun game to watch as a neutral fan that didn’t care who won.

Well as someone who had Gonzaga -4.5, that was a poetic way to end the shitstorm of a betting weekend for me

Last year was last year. This year that dog shite team has two 3rd team All-Americans on it. (Plus a coach both the players and the fanbase seem to love instead of Squeaky.)

You're missing my point, Kansas St. who has nowhere near the tradition, legacy, or support that Kentucky does can go from dog shite to better than Kentucky in one year. What does that say?

The best way to build a consistent elite college program isn’t by parading 5* one and done guys through your school IMO.

It’s by finding really good 3-4 year guys like Timme who don’t fit the NBA mold, but who are perfect for your system.

Pair them with an elite coach who can develop players and add one or two potential NBA guys who complement your system and you are in business.

Look at Bama this year:
-Sears: college guy who can score 15ppg and knockdown shooter
-Quinnerly: 5th year senior who can shoot
-Miller: young star NBA guy who can shoot
-Clowney: Stretch 4
-Bediako: rim protector who probably stays 4 years
