Zverev is one of my favorite players on tour, but I gotta root against him because that gives Tiafoe or Shelton the best chance to win this thing.

I’d be so pissed if I had tickets tonight and I got Zevrev and a random doubles match

It was tough to watch Novak…

We were so close from 3/4 semi finalist being American

That last match should have been Fritz/Tien.

That reminds me, if I had to endure like three hours of geriatric Williams sisters first round dubs to open the night session I had tickets to, I would have lost my mind.

Van de played it way too conservative on set point. Had his chance. Won’t last much longer now

tennis fan getting back into it.
How does the current generation match up against people like Federer, Nadal and Djokovic?

Yep.
Sascha up two sets now, but hasn't looked great IMO. He had serve yips in the first set. But he has been holding.

Sinner and Alcaraz are incredible. But, I'm not sure I see them getting to 20-24 majors. Maybe more like 15. However, unless players like Shelton can challenge them, they will split everything for the next decade.

You’re playing the number 1 guy with very little chance of winning. Why not be aggressive instead of sitting back. Gotta take it to the champ first

Zverev is a ball bouncing son of a bitch. Jesus it’s gainful to watch.

That was, quite possibly, the most boring match I’ve ever watched at this point in a major.

Wild to me that Khachanov just turned 30. For some reason it feels like he’s been around for 15 years.

Chalk on the women’s side. First time since 1975 at the U.S. Open, I believe.

Predictions for tonight? I think chalk holds but would love to see an all American final.

I think Sabalenka and Coco win tight ones. Coco/Rybakina is almost a pick 'em. I want to see Pegula with the trophy.
