Couldn’t sleep, watching this on Prime for the first time. Man, what the doctor ordered on a Tuesday am.

Under the Hill bar is in my top five best bars on the North American or European continents (only land masses I can attest to).
Call the ownership at Under the Hill and rent a room above the bar. From there you can eat at either Camp or Magnolia Grill each night, back to Under the Hill to catch the band then eventually stumble upstairs to recharge the batteries. Rinse, repeat.
Can always walk up the hill to catch a carriage ride and go to the Corner Bar.

Filets, cajun macaroni salad (Donald Link recipe), bag Caesar salad, and red wine. Geaux Tigers!
My go to that everyone seems to enjoy is to hit the shrimp with salt and cayenne pepper, cover with sour cream, dredge in unseasoned flower, shake off the excess and fry. Didn’t know what to expect the first time but it turned out great.

Red chicken curry with rice and sensation salad. Vodka waters.
Dined there a few weeks back with the family. Ordered the dry aged porterhouse sliced “family style” for the table (2 adults - 2 kids). It was perfect as was everything else from sides to service to dessert. Enjoy!
Baby backs on the BGE, homemade Cole slaw and Mac&cheese.

Just got back from Charleston after spending the week there with the family. Shoutout to Chucktown. I went through several threads on this and the FDB for ideas.
Meals were 167 Raw (on King), 167 Bar (around the corner), Hall’s and Marble and Fin.
Food was top notch. Family enjoyed the shopping on King.
Sunset cruise with Palmetto. Yorktown, carriage ride.
Weather was fine. Knew it would be hot going in but was pleasantly surprised by how the breeze kept the heat at bay.
Spent several afternoons with my man Jacob at Burns Alley Bar while the ladies shopped.
Everyone had a blast. Will be back.

Love Lisbon. We had dinner at Maria Catita recently and it was fantastic.
Pan seared red snapper with a lemon/butter/caper pan sauce, sweet corn, cucumber and red onion salad. Bottle of Sancerre.
Chicken fajitas, homemade guacamole, steamed tortillas and salsa & queso from local Mexican joint.
“Peruvian” chicken (spatchcocked) with green sauce and roasted root vegetables. Recipe was gleaned from a poster on this board. Don’t remember who to credit.
This has been in my weekly rotation for around six months. Family loves it and use the bones to make a stock every week to use in other recipes.

Homemade French onion soup, sensation salad and fresh baked French bread, courtesy of the wife.

Did you happen to dine at Curate? Had one of the best meals there a few years back.
