I think teams want to play three game series now… they want to replicate the state playoffs and going on buses and road trips and hotels

It was 1-0! But your point stands.

WM had 3 hits, ASH 2.

Had an error that led to only run on a timely hit.

. This and post split there was some bad blood between a handful of schools over their principals voting for split.

Dutchtown and St. Amant both beat Zachary this week.

Dutchtown beats Pville in game 1 in 9 innings. Both pitchers looked really good.
Sanchez - 6.2 innings 8 hits/ 1 ER 5k's
Johnson - 7.2 innings 1 hit/ 0ER 13ks

St. Amant got smoked by Hahnville

Watching Pearl River Central put it on us at Suarez… how does Mississippi high school baseball compare to Louisiana as a whole?

Have STM at Teurlings tomorrow.

Would you share your thoughts on it?

I must’ve had a premonition. WM wins game 2 vs ASH 2-0 to go 3-0 on the week. Brady Guillot lost a perfect game with 1 out in the 6th last night vs Byrd. WM won that one 10-6.

Curtis beat HC at Harahan, 6-3. They play again on Tuesday at HC. Very mild crowd for a Curtis home game, with Curtis basketball playing for state (and winning) against Karr.

Barbe best New Iberia 6-1 on saturday and moves to 20-1

St Louis lost to Vinton 4-3 saturday dropping to 16-5. St louis is hard to read, seem to play to level of competition, they can push barbe to extras and beat STM at STM then turnaround and lose to vinton.

Westlake swept the 3 game series with North wood to move to 14-4

As mentioned Sam Houston lost to southside 4-0 and will play them again Tuesday and currently sit at 15-6.

South Beau beat Sacred Heart saturday 5-2 and sits at 12-4

Sulphur lost to Acadiana Saturday 3-0 and now sit at 12-7

As of now, Div 1 non select looks weak but I want to remind everyone, district play has started or will start very soon and the next couple weeks you will see a lot of movement and everyone last year had written of Sam Houston and come playoffs they put foot to arse the whole time. So dont be quick to dismiss teams. Barbe looks to have the best team, but that can change quickly. I look for Sam Houston to be hot come playoff time

DIv 1 select looks to be Catholic and the NOLA catholic schools

I thought TC would run away with Div 2 select but not sure now, they are struggling.
