It could be 5-10 years before another American man wins a slam.

That seems bullish considering we are going on 23 years now since it last happened.

Lack of American representation aside, this has been a wildly entertaining tournament on the men's side. Just what men's tennis needed tbh

Really need Fonseca or Jodar to win it on the Men’s side. You need a #3 guy on the Men’s side behind Sinner/Alcaraz and it’d be awesome if they were an even younger player than those 2.

If any of the other guys win it this Slam will in the end seem kinda pointless to me. It’ll feel a bit cheap.

Zverev really is so good on clay. That first set he played against Nadal in 2022 was incredible before he broke his leg.

Mensik has a lot of potential too. Only 20 and already has a M1000 title (beat Djokovic to win Miami in 2025).

Will be interesting to see how high Moise Kouame can go. A lot of raw talent at 17.

But to your point. #3 will be Zverev for at least the next few years. He has and has always had the talent. He's just a massive choke artist.

Wow Fonseca saved 6 match points so far in this 3rd set. Could be a huge momentum changer for him if he pulls this game out to get to tiebreak

Fonseca in a 3rd set tiebreaker to stay alive vs Mensik. He must have saved 5 or 6 match points.

An interesting dynamic in tennis to me is how a match can end right here or go another 2 hours

Got to be crushing to lose this set if Fonseca takes it

Didn’t realize Mensik was just as young as Fonseca. Another guy that can burst onto the scene here soon

Phenomenal work at the net from Mensik. Looks like both guys were running out of gas.

Though Zverev should roll unless the pressure gets to him.

The odds of three Italians making the quarterfinals and none of them being named Jannik Sinner had to be 10000000/1

I'm rooting for Zverev to win it all. I still can't believe Joker let his best chance at 25 slip away. Cobolli would be cool to win as well.

I didn’t see, I wasn’t paying attention until I went back to look at Cobolli odds and saw she was down 3-0 in the 3rd
