Feel bad for Arnoldi, Cobolli, and the fans. Really sucks to have a walk-over in the semi like this. I think everyone was looking forward to the all-Italian semi, even Cobolli who now advances to the final.

Zverev will never have an easier opportunity for a slam. On the other hand, this is Cobolli's first and will probably be the only chance he will ever have to win a slam.

Cobolli is really good and he's coming in well rested. Zverev gets into his own head as well, so I would be surprised to see straight sets here. I do think Zverev wins in 4 though.

Kostyuk and Svitolina have been such whiny little twats with the whole Ukraine thing. So disrespectful to their opponents…..so glad to see Andreeva kick Kostyuk to the curb.
Also thought Andreeva did a great job in her presser when the woke journalists tried to bait her into talking about the war and how that related to the tennis match; she just kept saying, I play the tennis ball and focus on my plan, paid no attention to the left wing propagandists that wanted to debate world events.

What do y’all think of the talking heads they have had on the desk for TNT?
One that surprised me as being great was Venus Williams, she was cheerful and made good points, she did not talk about herself all the time (paging Chris Evert), and seemed relaxed and at ease.
I know I have complained about him before, but that Lefkoe guy is terrible, he really knows nothing about tennis, but keeps trying to make these profound emotional statements,….shut up.
