Never going to get an easier path to a career grand slam than that. Pretty shocking.

Shelton or auger aliassime are now the favorites to come out of the top half, no?

His bracket quadrant is hilarious

Hopefully Shelton or Tiafoe can make it thru that to semis. As good a shot as anyone else there

Sinner is extremely lucky that he's usually playing at night in Australia and New York

Shelton is an enigma. He isn't quite as bad as he was on clay now. He typically has good conditioning. He is great at majors.

Still don't trust him to make it too far though.

I think it was last summer, he seemed to have transformed his game. He was all of a sudden playing amazing defense. But, I think he got hurt at the U.S. Open and hasn't been quite the same since.

I wonder if we will look back on this as Sinner's last best chance to win the French Open and complete the career slam.

You never know. It's the ultimate test of endurance, and there are some really good young clay court players on the come up... plus you have to assume Alcaraz will always be there in his way too.

This is already the 2nd major just this year where Sinner’s cramping gave him serious issues. Heat really gets to him in these longer matches. Does he need a better conditioning coach?

He's 6-13 in 5 setters. He already has two more more 5 set losses than Novak does in 23 years as a pro while Alcaraz is nearly unbeatable in 5 sets. Clearly an issue.

Clearly has the highest top end as we see in Masters events, but you get him into a dog fight and he can't sustain.

I don't see how anyone roots for Sinner.

He's been caught TWICE with doping. Got minimal punishment for it. Of course.

Now he gets preferential treatment for his cramping, today he gets to leave the court for 10 minutes!!!!! That's insane. That should NEVER happen. Yet here we are with how they deal with Sinner specifically.

He lied to the Umpire and told her something wrong with his head and that's he's dizzy. She could easily see it was cramps he was dealing with.

What a piece of trash. And what a stupid phucking kunt.

He definitely took a while to round into form this year, but he did win the BMW which is a 500 on clay. Then he crapped the bed in Rome and Madrid. Just really hard to get a read on him.

He’s never even played for a SEC championship. Tells me all I need to know.

For the sportsbooks that had odds listed on Sinner, he was set as high as a -10000 favorite, an implied probability of 99.01%. In other words, you'd have to bet $10,000 on him to win $100. Or, as one bettor did, bet $55k on him to win $999.07.

I’d love to see young Learner Tien make a deep run. He’s only 20 and clay is his worst surface, but he’s got serious game. This half of the draw is wide open now.

That makes no sense to me.

Don’t be surprised if he does. He’s a dangerous draw

Edit: This cannot be real. -10000 after ROUND ONE of a major is just wild.
