LOL at Prime and Nascar bots trying to spin this as good when you lose that many viewers!! And to be honest, those younger viewers won’t stick around as long. Its amazing how they try and polish that turd lol
If you hate the product so much, quit watching. Quit commenting. Like I said, the ones who want to watch it, will and those who don’t, won’t. Almost every post if either about viewer numbers or how NASCAR is dying. We get it but the rinse and repeat shite is getting old

Less commercials and mandatory cautions would make it a much better product imo
They should be doing everything they can to bring down the total time of the race if they want young people to watch. It worked for baseball and it’s a selling point for F1 in my opinion.
Stages and needless cautions need to go. Even if you ignore the time piece, more green flag stops mean more strategy and jeopardy. The whole concept is dumb, but they can still award points for stages without throwing a caution if they really feel the need to do it.

A lot of races could and should be 400 miles instead of 500.
Agree with stage cautions.

A lot of misinformation ITT
The 2.6 on Prime for a Flagship event is not great .
While picking up more 18-49 viewers is great, this is a crown jewel/ “Major” that has lost about half its audience in the better part of a decade .
This is a huge opportunity for INDYCAR to claw back market share. Especially with a street course, the greatest road course in North America , and another oval all occurring during Cups sabbatical on Prime

I think a lot more people would take it seriously if they eliminated stages and the chase

The first two episodes of Prime Video’s “Earnhardt” docu-series are now available to watch on Prime Video.
Finished 3 of the 4 episodes. One Word. Outstanding.
ETA: Get ready to shed a tear or two in Episode 4.

Eric Estepp was saying nfl saw a similar drop the first year they put TNF on prime. I do think some nascar fans will be more stubborn to transition to streaming. But hopefully they pick up some younger fans in the process. The Amazon presentation is good enough to draw in people.

I don't know, we have seen false dawns in IndyCar before. Another poster recently cited an article that said 70% of Indy 500 viewers won't watch another race all year.
I'm sure they'll get their annual post-500 bump, but I don't think there's much of an opportunity for them to take advantage of.

These are my feelings also

Sheldon Creed is still a bum. Just caused a big wreck in the Xfinity race by checking up while in the lead on a restart, which stacked the whole field up.
EDIT: I stand corrected. Creed didn’t check up on the restart. Seems like Zilisch in the 88 tried to anticipate when Creed would go and went before Creed did and had to check up himself, which stacked up the field.

Cup race isn’t until 6:00 pm tonight. Boo…

Hamlin could miss the race with his 3rd child, and 1st boy, due any time. Says he will not miss the birth. Ryan Truex on standby. NASCAR will give him a waiver if he were to miss
Today would be his 700th career start and hadn’t missed a race since 2014

Yeah this is too late. I don’t know what nascar is trying to accomplish here. Saturday night or Sunday afternoon should be the only options unless it’s a three day weekend.

I’m in the minority I guess. F1 with my breakfast, nascar with my dinner. Get a bunch of shite done during the day. That’s a good Sunday.

Logano hinted during the PRN prerace show that he wasn’t sure how good the racing would be while the sun was up.
