Unfortunately, I’m not expecting a very good Clash. We know that the next gen car doesn’t typically produce good short track racing and with Bowman Gray being so small and narrow, I’m not sure how there will be much passing.

1/4 mile tracks make for bad TV. Lap times at 60 MPH. Being there is probably better. They need to go to the Rock next year.

I’m here now and it’s pretty damn cool. We’ll get a better idea when they start the heat races. The stock cars tend to stick to the track better than the modifieds.

Top 2 finishers in the LCQ advance to the Clash. The top driver in last season’s points that hasn’t already raced himself into the Clash also advances. If Blaney doesn’t race his way in, he will be the one that advances based on points.
