As in Dale Jr buying Pitbull’s share of Trackhouse?

The way it reads Pitbull was nicely paid for his interests in Trackhouse. If it is Dale Jr that bought out pitbull that is a real interesting move and a net positive for NASCAR.

Mini rant: I don't know if anyone does Fan Rewards on the NASCAR app, but I tried checking in during the Duels and the truck race, and it wouldn't let me.

I assumed it was an issue with my phone, so I tried reinstalling the app. When I signed back in, I was notified my account was closed for violating their terms of service.

Not a big deal, but no idea what I did. Last night was the first time since Phoenix last November I opened the damn thing. I want my points!

I read where a private equity firm became an investor in Trackhouse. I can’t see Dale Jr getting involved with a team with that many irons in the fire. I’d think he would want NASCAR race teams only but maybe not.

Parker Kligerman wins the truck race.

Was actually relatively clean for this series, with some good racing over the last several laps. NASCAR even briefly held off on throwing a caution after they began wrecking on the back straightaway of the final lap.

Frankie Muniz with a solid 11th place finish on his debut.

So, did they not catch it in the pre-race, was there damage, or was there cheating?

Back to back races in which the one who crossed the finish line first did not actually win the race

2 for 2 .. in olden times, Bill Sr & Jr. had a policy that they would not take a win away, might fine them, from the winner because they did not want the racefan to feel cheated from what they just watched. Can we go back to giving a shite about the racefan for a minute????

Amen, man. This is ridiculous. What a stain on the biggest weekend in the sport.

Sorry for bringing up my Fan Rewards issue again, but that's just a microcosm of the shite this sport keeps pulling. Common sense seems lost on this organization. They take a step forward, then two steps back, which pushes away supporters.

What a crap call in the 2nd duel.

Helio was lost and is not going to fare well Sun. Don’t like they just gave him a spot over others. Indy 500 you have to earn a spot (Larson). And I hope he doesn’t cause a wreck. I like him too, nothing go do with him personally.

NASCAR allowing Helio to race but not Mike Wallace is complete and total bullshite. Nothing against Helio but the reasoning they used to disallow Wallace to run was laughable.

NASCAR continues to step on their own dick with inconsistent rulings.

I agree that Helio is out to lunch but 65-year-old Mike Wallace who hasn’t been in a Cup race in 14 years is not going to bring one pair of eyes to the Daytona 500 outside his immediate family. Four-time Indy 500 winner and Dancing with the Stars champion Helio Castroneves will. That’s the bottom line.

This mentality is what is killing the sport. In the quest for "new eyes" NASCAR shite on the eyes that got them where they are.
