Praying so hard for Oscar and Lando to take each other out in turn 1... Would be the most epic thing that could happen.

The media ask a lot of dumb questions

I think that was a great question and you could tell how awkward it was between them two

It's a fair question. Discussion would need to involve DQ potentials and potential penalties yada yada.
Not the first or last time a teammate would be dispatched to help in the final race, or deciding race.
Would have been great if Lando threw back "who the hell has the pace to be 2nd in your scenario?"

I juat don't see Max winning it this year. Hw's not gonna beat Lando by a big enough margin.
Max may win, but if Lando comes in second it doesn't matter.

Honestly, though, to come back to make it this close, he should win Driver of The Year.

Seems like the only way Lando doesn't finish in the top three is if some sort of frickery goes on. For the sake of entertainment I am 100% rooting for some frickery.
I'd like to see Yuki or an RB qualify high enough to at least get in the mix in turn 1. Not saying anybody would or should blatantly crash... but at least put the fear in his mind

quote:I think any driver that ascends to compete in F1 has proven they don't 'suck'. In my opinion, he doesn't have the intangibles that would make him into an aggressive, but smart competitor. He's had two seasons to figure it out. He should move down and try to develop those traits, although I feel like anything close to Max's intensity over his career is unobtainable for 99% of all drivers. Piastri has it deep inside, but he's in Max's shadow at the moment.
Point is, I think Yuki sucks

The McLaren boys seem rattled, or nervous, or stressed. They both have cancelled media spots with their home countries media that they normally do. To focus on the job is the reason they gave.
Max is not bothered at all. Said “the trophy looks the same, I already have 4 of them at home”
I’m still hoping Lando can get the job done, but if not him would rather see Max complete the comeback.

It’s got to be the most stressful time of their lives up to this point.
It is a life changing experience to become world champion. Lando is playing it off hard right now but they have every right to be nervous.

OK you guys, this is it, the last chance to update your prediction list and raise your results in the final championship order! The prediction lists will be locked tonight.
Just like real life, The TD F1 championship still has three players in contention for P1, pitstop, bikerack, and sorantable. Just one other player has a chance to get in the top 3 and win a prize, and that's gatorhater08.
From my previous post, here are the scenarios:

From my previous post, here are the scenarios:
quote:
With just one race left, Here are the possibilities at the top after Abu Dhabi:
pitstop needs to finish P6 or higher to guarantee the championship. But also if bikerack finishes P3 or lower, and sorantable finishes P2 or lower.
bikerack can win if he finishes P2 and pitstop doesn't score (and sorantable doesn't win the race), or if bikerack wins and pitstop finishes P7 or lower. In the first scenario bikerack ties pitstop on points but wins the tiebreaker with four wins vs two.
sorantable can still win the championship if he wins in Adu Dhabi, pitstop doesn't score, and bikerack finishes P3 or lower. sorantable easily wins the 184-point tiebreaker with pitstop with four wins vs two wins.
If sorantable wins the race, bikerack finishes P2, and pitstop doesn't score, they would all finish with 184 points. In that scenario bikerack would win the tiebreaker with four wins, a P2, P3, and a P3. sorantable would be next with four wins, a P2, P3, and a P4. pitstop would finish third with just two wins. This is my ideal scenario!!!
With just one race left, gatorhater08 is the only other driver with a chance to get on the podium and win a prize.

If McLaren doesn’t finish the job, where would it rank on the all time sports collapse list?
Worse than the Yankees collapse in the 04 ALCS?
Worse than the 73 win Warriors not winning the championship?
Worse than 2014/2015 Kentucky basketball going 38-1?
Greg Norman or Jordan Speith Sunday meltdowns at the Masters?

George Obviously.
What if Ham was in that 2nd spot, last lap he just pulls over?

Nah. Motorsports are different. Now, if they wipe each other out in turn 1, then yeah.
