Totes. Chicken is quite possibly the only person on Earth who is happy with the bottom sticky. It sucks, and kills thead update recognition. I know he goons over the notification system, but no one wants to deal with that shite.

He wants JerryTheKing, JamalMurry, gambling and X repost threads to dominate the front page here. It drives engagement.

People casually and civilly discussing a Motorsport doesn’t move the needle for him.

Starting a new thread for every GP instead of a season long thread is a consideration I’ve made for 26. Would surely just get anchored to make room for wnba threads from tacky though.

Wouldn't be Interlagos without a chance of rain.

90% chance on Saturday.

40% Sat and 20% Sun.

Awesome to see the WDC so close at the end of the season. I'm rooting for Piastri.

Looking forward to the race this weekend at one of the world's classic circuits, Interlagos.

Some of you might remember me from a few seasons back. I'd be happy to help with this effort.

I think if there was a new thread for each race every Monday following a GP, I don't think it would get anchored until a new one was created. Just my opinion.

Mr. Rooster Man doesn't like mega threads in his own words on the Help Board, but again I don't think a new thread for each race would get anchored until a thread for the next race is created.

Just my $0.02.

No shite. between this and the AppleTV bullshite next year I may as well just forget about the sport now instead of after the season.

Congrats Lando, I guess.

Honestly, that’s the right mindset.

You’ve gone this long allowing them to fight it out, you can’t favor one now.

Let the cards fall where they may. Highly unlikely Max catches both of them unless they take each other out in one of the last couple of races.

For those wondering what 2007 looked like, I made a chart that supplements the standard table that you'll typically see when you look up F1 seasons.

18 years ago and Lewis and Fernando are still here! Kubica had a promising career ahead of him. I don't remember what the feeling was about Rosberg at that time. Scott Speed, I believe one of just two American F1 drivers this century (along with Alexander Rossi), IIRC had a contentious relationship with his team and was replaced by some young upstart named Sebastian Vettel. A team called "Spyker" was on the grid.

OK, last chance to update your prediction lists for the Brasilian GP. The lists will be locked tonight.

It's a sprint weekend and I think people are saying rain is expected.

Last year had crazy qualy and race results.

In qualy, the VCARB had Yuki qualifying P3 and Lawson P5. Now that I'm thinking about it, I actually remember what happend. In a wet Q3 after a red flag, the cars were lined up at the pit exit for a few minutes before it went green again. The cars at the front of the line would easily be able to do two hot laps, the cars further back might not be able to do two hot laps. VCARB and I think two other teams decided to stay in the garage with the tire warmers on until the pit lane cleared. These cars would only have one hot lap, but their tires were warmer than any car that sat in the pit lane waiting for the green flag. It obviously worked as both VCARBs got into the top 5.

As for the race, I remember on the sighting lap, Stroll went off at the end of the first straight at Turn 4. He went down the paved exit road. He could have made his way back to the track by returning up the road, but he went off road and beached himself. Race over. The finish saw shock podiums for both Alpine cars as they did the smart thing late in the race and stayed out instead of pitting like the frontrunners. I was following Yuki and was hoping for VCARB to make the same decision, but they ALWAYS made the wrong decision. There were so many races where VCARB took the long-shot action of delaying pits stops in hopes of a safety car or red flag, and it never worked. Here they had the chance again to give it a try and this time they decided to go for the conventional action , and Alpine had the last laugh. They shot up the backmarker championship standings and saved their season.

If it's a wet race, I think it's going to be a crapshoot. Good luck with your predictions.

Also Jos Verstappen talking that talk this week.

"It's very strange to me what's happening at McLaren: Has PIA suddenly forgotten how to drive? If I were him, or his representative [Mark Webber], I'd definitely take matters into my own hands. Because now everyone's wondering if he can handle the pressure. And that's not good for his reputation.

It might automatically smell [like McLaren is favoring NOR], but I have no idea. But if I were PIA, I'd be striking back right now. Everyone assumed he'd become champion, and that perception has shifted very quickly."

That livery would look a LOT better if they didn't have to hang on to the Duracell and the dark-blue Komatsu colors.

Jos is not wrong. I never suspected that McLaren was screwing him somehow, I think there's just something about the latest car upgrades that make it more difficult for him to drive. And yeah, his reputation is suffering right now--he needs to fight back and keep it close or he's not going to be seen as a top-shelf F1 driver anymore.

I agree with Jos and you. If he doesn’t show some fight in these last few races it will hurt his reputation inside and outside of the paddock.
