Nice bit of F1 today. Shame this circuit won’t be raced every year.

Was realizing part of what makes Spa so great is the distance. There are great braking points, but Spa really let's the top speed of the cars come into play. Adds the bit of jeopardy during setup.

Shorter tracks just can't really have that.

Spa really has everything. It's far an away my favorite circuit. It should be a crime that it's not going to be annual on the F1 calendar and we get soulless shite like Madrid, Miami, and Qatar on long contracts.

Interesting sprint qualifying results.

Yep. Might be an interesting sprint. Hope Lando pulls it together for real Quali but that was a heck of a lap by Oscar

Might have to break open the McLaren Racing edition Jack Daniels bottle in salute to Oscar's time.

Damn DVR cut off so missed Q3. Haas, wow they have found something. Great move bringing in current team principal. Bearman is so young too.

Ha, my recording switched to Spanish language for a few minutes during the last few minutes of SQ3 but then switched back

Early morning. Lions rugby on the big screen and watching the sprint on the laptop.

Hopefully Max can hang on here, Oscar stay in front of Lando.

I know Red Bull is washed but couldn't pass up these odds with Max starting on the front row

Snoozer sprint.

Except for the initial shuffling of a few positions on the first lap or two, there was no passing at all until Ham and Albon swapped positions a couple of times in the last couple of laps and then Ham made it stick. So just one pass for position in the last 13 laps.

Another outstanding result by Alpine.
You are doing a great job Flavio.

And that makes 15 consecutive f1 races(including sprints)that Colapinto has failed to score a point.

Qualifying still to come. Max may or may not be on the first row.

The sprint race has no direct bearing on the qualifying position for the Gran Prix.

Lol I understand how it works. My wager was for the sprint and already paid out. Too bad Australia didn't hold on to the rugby game though.

I wish they would do away with qualifying for the Sunday race. Just have the qualifying for the Sprint and have the Sprint race finish be the starting grid.
