Toto allegedly gave a blurb or interview in German that due to some circumstances Verstappen won't be available until next year for a move.

Max is fricked if true, should have jumped when shite hit the fan last year with Horndog, Jos, Newey, Helmut, and his Dad.

I can't believe there isn't a clause in his contract that if Horner is gone, that he doesn't have an out.

He gets to sit back in the last year of a contract and see who has the best car next year. I'd believe they all had the contract out, might have had a timing piece to the clause when Newey left and after that the escape clause is null.

Or even take a Kimi year and frickoff to WEC until someone throws a ton of money at him.

Yep, no reason to jump ship this year going blindly into new rules next year.

Wonder what next year's list of expiring contracts looks like.

Seems there will be a lot right now.

Midweek discussion:

Currently have YouTube TV for my tv provider and therefore have ample access to all of F1 that I need at $83/month.

What other options are there that are cheaper?
Disney Bundle?
Hulu?

Oh wait, it's Thursday.

Practice and sprint qualy tomorrow. TDF1 prediction lists will be locked tonight!

This is a sprint weekend. Remember, for the purposes of our game we ignore the sprint race. The predictions are only for the Sunday grand prix.

The season is half over. 12 races done, 12 races to go. In our little championship, sorantable has started to take a commanding lead with a P1 and P2 finish in the last two races. We can't let him run away with the championship! Everyone else needs to step up!

We're coming off of a three-week break. We have two races in a row, the Belgian GP and the Hungarian GP, then a frickin' four-week break. They should work on having more races just before the summer break. Plus, I think it would be much better if they took the long break in September instead, when we're excited for the football season to start.

They don’t care about football. The long break in August coincides with many Europeans taking all or most of the month off.

Well sure, but who owns F1 now? Liberty Media, an American company that gave us three F1 races in America.

If they want F1 to have their long break in September, they can make it happen.

OK, predictions for the Belgian GP are locked out. Good luck.

There shouldn't be more than 20 races in the season.

Oh I agree, I think 20 is the ideal number of races as well. When I said they should have more races before the summer break, I didn't mean they should add more races to the total, I meant that they should arrange the schedule more evenly to minimize having more than one weekend break between races, except for the summer break. We're in a part of the schedule right now where there are just two races over seven weekends.

Damn, some fun results in sprint qualy.

Bortoleto P10 - Hulk P17
Shaarl P4 - Ham P18
Gasly P8 - Colapinto P19
Sainz P6 - Albon P16

Ant P20, both Mercedes out of the top 10.
Astons P14-P15

Haaaaaas! Both in the top 8. In the points to start the sprint.

Did not expect Merc to be such a shitshow here. After Canada I would have expected this track to be good for them.

Red Bull seem to just be sending it. All top speed and frick the corners.
