Didn’t see this posted. But wow, would kill any forward viewership momentum gained. And go from commercial free to commercials and have to pay for that privilege.

F1 and the NBA really are alike. Fans gripe over and over about boring games/races and there's usually some musical chairs drama off the court/track.

I pay through my nose for YouTubeTV to have ESPN and all those channels so I can watch it now. I happen to be an AppleTV+ subscriber already so I guess I’m not too worried about that.

As long as I don't lose F1TV, I don't care.

man if it's like mls and you have to pay an additional charge to watch on top of the subscription, that's gonna destroy viewewship.

There’s a 0% chance of this happening, but I do fear the advertising they’ll add.

Its good, but now that ESPN has nearly every practice and race, I don't use it at all.

Don't think I've used it once this season.

I'd be pretty pissed if it was available only on Apple's streaming service and I had to subscribe to yet another service in order to see it.

Well if MultiViewer wasn't available for F1TV, I would just watch ESPN. But MultiViewer is a game-changer and makes my view and understanding of the race much better. I spend half the time looking at live timing to see the gaps, the tires, and the number of laps on the current set of tires. I get a much better idea of how the race will develop and I can keep much better tabs on the midfield race, which is often more interesting that what's happening at the front.

100%. Mulitviewer is the best sports app of any sports. Hands down. On weekends I'm not at home and have to watch the regular broadcast, I enjoy it, but it's not anywhere near as fun as watching with multiviewer.

It was awesome to see Hulk get his first podium at Silverstone. He's been a journeyman in F1 but it's clearly paid off for the teams giving him a seat.

Next up, one of the world's classic circuits - my personal favorite, Spa-Francorchamps.

Bold prediction: a Ferrari gets the win.

High speed seems to be their wheelhouse this year.

Spa and Monza should be in their favor.

Piggybacking on the Apple post yesterday here’s the other side and what ESPN proposes. No matter who wins the viewer loses.

Cmon NBCSports. You're our only hope.

Hope so. Love F1, but the wide popularity at this point is going to be its downfall.

If goes solely to Apple, sorry, I'm not buying an Apple TV subscription, have enough of them as is.

And how they hell would that look that Disney/F1 are launching a partnership next year and Disney loses the rights to broadcast

I use F1 TV almost exclusively. The only thing I watch on ABC/ESPN is Brundle’s grid walk. No clue why they don’t include that anywhere on F1 TV (unless I’m just ignorant and don’t know where to look).
