Okay, but to be fair, there aren’t many drivers all-time who could/can overcome their equipment’s deficiencies. I suppose that’s the true measure of one’s talent, but championship-level talented drivers are probably stuck in shitty rides more than we realize.

I’m giving Lando the benefit of the doubt for last season. Nobody in McLaren expected them to be fighting for championships when the season started. Max’s strong start to the season put him in a position where he didn’t even have to finish races as long as Lando didn’t. That gave Max a lot freedom to drive like a bully. Hopefully Lando learned a lot. If this season is a repeat of last season then I might be ready to concede Lando doesn’t have what it takes.

As of this moment, there are six guys who still haven't saved a prediction.
I do want to mention that you can shuffle your order and re-save your prediction as many times as you want before the lockout period begins.
I've been watching YouTube videos analyzing the Bahrain test and predicting the first race based on the pre-season test, previous years at Melbourne, expected rain, characteristics of the cars (Mercedes is better in cool conditions like the Bahrain test, Melbourne will be warmer), etc., and I keep changing my order.
Mainly, some believe that Mercedes is looking stronger than Ferrari, so I'm trying to figure it out between those two, as well as the Max factor -- where does a fast Max in a slightly weaker Red Bull go? Less than seven hours until the lockout period begins!
