He short, and very intense. I can easily imagine him doing incredibly unfun things like treadmill Ironmans.

I knew a guy, he had a PhD, he looked like an NFL linebacker because he was obsessed with working out, and (as an aside) he was an objectively good looking guy, women were always checking him out. Anyway, I went on some backpacking trips with this guy. He loved to suffer. He decided to climb Mt. Shasta because he learned that he could suffer more than a standard backpacking trip. He did it, I wasn't interested. Some people think they aren't achieving anything unless they are suffering.

Finnish people enjoy pain. They're wired differently.

It may be a Northern European thing in general?

A good death is a noble thing in all of our cultures, and if you look at the story of Ragnarok, the gods are doomed to lose that battle, but they don't run from it. These are cultures where you're expected to fight impossible battles and suffer.

Dear facebook/CSB

My 6 yo girl saved her own allowance and own birthday money to buy me a birthday gift last month. She loves playing Legos and knew my favorite race car team was the orange one. She saw one at Walmart and my wife let her buy it for me. We just finished putting it together. Yea, its Formula E but I dont care. She is so proud we built it together. I love it too.

looks like checo will have a RBR seat next year, complete with new mexican sponsors.

RBR must REALLY value Wind Tunnel Time

I saw that news too. I had to reply just to use this emoji.

How is Perez not embarrassed to get into an F1 car these days? It's not even Max who is humiliating him. Perez humiliates himself in a car where Max is simply giving us, the viewers, the knowledge of what the car's ultimate capabilities are. It's one thing to be a reasonably capable #2 driver, like a Bottas or a Barrichello, but Perez is a guy that no one wants to see in an F1 car. At this point, how are Mexican fans not embarrassed to be rooting for him? As I've alluded to before, Checo's Mexican sponsors should all move their support to Pato O'Ward and get him into F1 as the next Mexican racing hero.

Man, that’s awesome. I’ve been strongly considering grabbing one for me and my son to put together.

There are some cool Lego F1 models. I think they go from $90 to, wait for it, $350.

There’s an F1 2023 McLaren LEGO set. I bought it a couple months ago.

You’ll probably need to help her put on the car’s many stickers.

Ive got the full size Mclaren and Mercedes... Not a mercedes fan, but that is a badass set.

All of the technic cars are pretty cool, but my favorite, by far is the new Mclaren P1.

I feel like we've said this every year for three years now...but Checo has to be gone by the end of next season right? New regulations, chance of Max going to another team, etc

Could definitely see him making a push to be a pro gravel cyclist of some kind. He already has a sponsorship with Canyon.

Sitting watching the game last night and my wife just randomly goes "Valtteri Bottas keeps showing up on my feed" and I just cracked up laughing. She'll watch some races with me and keeps up with it but nothing on social media but for whatever reason Valtteri Bottas stuff has popped up on her page like 5 times lately. So random.
