Ahh I see. Yeah I wish A&M could go to that one more. Nashville is easily one of the more fun bowl locations. Went when we were the unfortunate team that got to be where Lamar Jackson announced he was going to be a beast in CFB. All the UL fans in the lead up to that game were telling us how they thought they'd get wrecked b/c they were going to use a freshman QB who can't throw. Then Kyler Murray and Kyle Allen both transferred the same week.

Kind of sucks to play a 6-6 team when you go 8-4.
Too bad the Pac 12 and Big 12 bowl selection was/is so fricking rigid. A&M Colorado would be fun.
I'd also rather play Baylor and Tech over USC but I'm sure A&M admin was massively against that.

One of my earliest college football memories was attending a bonfire/pep rally at Tech with my dad the night before a top-10 Arky visited Lubbock in 1989. I think the Hogs won the game by 5 TDs.

WTF man even the Birmingham Bowl is a matter matchup? Did our admin and BMAs just feel like they all needed a trip to Vegas? Why the hell did they push so hard to play a damn 6-6 team? SMH
