Adding another tire to the mix I assume they did ample testing for reliability. The more tire types means its harder for teams to plan ahead which is actually a good thing.
Sure, but I don't think adding another hard compound will improve the racing. Last year Albon did almost the whole Australian race on C2. The hard compounds are good. They should have added a soft compound, maybe between C4 and C5. Find the right balance between lap time and longevity. I want to see more pit stops, not fewer.

Admittedly I don't know much about this stuff, but is Merc the only team to go with basically no sidepods at all?

Last year’s C1 has become the C0, and is now the hardest tyre in the range
brundle helped us all out when he said he remembers which compound is softest (C5) because the number 5 resembles the letter S for "soft"

The last one I can think of was Max in Baku 2021.
It happened twice in that race.

Alpine by far the worst livery on the grid.

That’s what I use as well. Like it much better than the ESPN broadcast. I like that I can switch the views, ride a long with a driver and check sector times.

Think 7/10 improved over last year. The ones that didn’t are
Alpine
Aston
Redbull

I really like the Haas and the Alfa. I wanna say I like Merc but it feels dirty saying that.
The Aston is hideous. Just like last year

All he Ferrari powered cars are some sort of red/black combo. It will take more than a glance to differentiate between Alfa and Ferrari with some camera angles.

Placement on the grid will tell the difference.

They need to ditch the pink, but I get that they cant.
I like the williams, merc, alfa, and haas.
The aston/merc/williams all have the f1 classiness about them.
The Red bull/AT and Ferrari are what they are.

I’ve never been to an F1 race (or any car race besides dirt track). I have tentative plans for the race in Baku this year.

Just my opinion, but the new McLaren livery has too much black.
