I love Makars answer right there.

ESPN: “Are you gonna celebrate tonight?”

Makar: “No”.. walks off.

Well boys , I’d like to report that miraculously the ESPN all came through for me in my undisclosed semi- gross location in SE Asia. What an arse whipping. See you guys next time.

It was a pointless question. No one celebrates after Game 2.

That’s why I loved the way he basically roles his eyes, says no, then walks off without allowing them another stupid question.

And the other time it happened was an Avalanche 8-1 drubbing of the Panthers. And Forsberg scored a hat trick in the 1st period.

Bruins also beat the Canucks 8-1 in game three of the ‘11 finals.

Just got home from the Ball Arena.

Tampa is in trouble, and it is beyond obvious. They need to win both at home otherwise this’ll be done fast

I forgot about that. Thomas was a brick wall that series.

Too much, but entirely worth the price of admission for that arse whoopin’.

Plus it was my wife’s first hockey game ever. She’s now hooked and is already planning our next one (whether G5/7 or next year).

What did Kemper do to get a penalty there?

Did they ever explain this on the broadcast? It was on my end of the ice and we saw it as it unfolded… I was confused as to what Kuemper did other than throw his hands up and try to avoid all contact.

Avs seem to have a separate gear from Tampa.

If Tampa doesn't win game 3, they're getting swept.

The call was for holding Perry’s stick.

Perry got a Roughing penalty

I know that’s what they called, but did he really hold it?
From my vantage point it looked like it got stuck in his pad as he had his hands up in the air

The last time we played a Florida team in the finals, we swept them as well (1996 Florida Panthers).

On the replay it looked like Perry tried to pull his stick back. But Kuemper wouldn't let go of it.

I think the Lightning will win at least one of the next 2 home games. Realistically, they have to win both to have any shot.

Where’d yall go after the game? Rockies had a home game too. Downtown was nuts. We were at Stoney’s Uptown then went to a friend’s house by Mile High stadium after the game was over.
