Expecting Toronto to get anything right is like expecting Arizona and Buffalo to meet in the SCF. Toronto and Birmingham makes interpretations that baffle you at times

I do love how the Avs, an "offensive" team essentially shut down McDavid and the depth showed while Nathan still shined throughout.

Nathan has almost embraced the unsung villain role here and I love it

Cale is in Conn Smythe form, he's got to be the leader

Really sad to see this TNT crew go - they have been fantastic

While I enjoy Chelios and Messier, these guys have been much better with the mobile studio for their games

...and of course Gretzky. Will never forget how in the 8-6 first game the greatest scorer of all time said you have to play defense

Makar is a stallion obviously gifted on the defensive side but can also provide offense when it's needed, it's really hard to overlook him as the most dominant defensive player in the west right now, maybe even the league. He's exactly who you'd want on the ice playing as many minutes as possible

I'm still in awe over the absolutely filthy and disrespectful goal he put in off of Rittich's face in the first round.

I don't really like Tampa, but I think Avs/Tampa is the final we deserve. Is it a dumb question to task who would be favored? I am guessing Avs because of the rest?

Not dumb at all.

Yes the Avs, but I don't think the rest has a ton to do with it. In fact, there's a good chance the rest could hurt them in game 1.

I would imagine the Avs will have lots of rust in Game 1 no matter who they play.

Still hoping for the Tampa win so I can drive there vs flying to Denver. Gonna shell out $$$ either way I guess.

Did someone here say Tampa doesn't allow visiting colors to be worn in the lower bowl?

My issue with espn is it just sounds crappy too
I think McDonough is a great play by play guy in general, just doesn’t do well with hockey.
