No it is set in preseason. NHL doesn’t move things like NBA

I could see the Oil signing Husso.

It was simply batted down by his stick, therefor crossbar is irrelevant. If it had been deflected into the net off his stick, then crossbar rule would be in play and it would’ve been no goal. He just batted it straight down then had clear control and shot it in like a normal shot from the ice.

It was above shoulder was it not so that’s played w high stick. The blade was above shoulder which made it high
That’s why I’m not understanding why not whistled down. Unless that’s not reviewable then it makes sense

Too bad it wasn’t above the shoulder. Corner glass cam showed it right at shoulder, not above. Give it up man, the review was quick.

That replay clearly shows above shoulder. So again it was high stick play.

Avs are 12-2 in the playoffs and won 2 series in 4-0 shutouts. This team is solid and plays all 60 minutes.

My only worry is rust for the Finals
Kadri's health is doubtful, Girard is out and hopefully Cagliano has time to recover as an important 3rd/4th liner
Keeping is still meh, but Frankie took us here I say ride him

That was my interpretation. The goal came from the rebound of the deflection. So it doesn't matter if the deflection off the stick was above the crossbar.

But it was played with a high stick that whistles it down. If that’s not reviewable then good. I just not sure what they were reviewing

They reviewed if it was a high stick or not. Since it wasn’t above his shoulders, the play and shot that followed were quickly deemed good. It’s not hard to comprehend.

A former ref on TV said it was a good goal. Who knows obscure rules better than any of us. Someone else said the puck hit the shaft. Which wasn't above the crossbar. So good goal.

They can’t review the play with high stick it seems like. So the review had nothing to do with that. Apparently that’s a subjective call

You think they reviewed if the puck hit the back of the net? Lol. Go cry at NHL’s situation room in Toronto.

Okay Homer.

Hit shaft of stick at or below shoulder level then he scored the goal. Over. And even if not, Toronto has ruled for better or worse. IIWII
Btw Draisaitl with 4 assists on one leg, what a beast

All the TNT crew just said it was the right call.
