Because they have windshields and no wipers or washer fluid. Everyone but the leader couldn't see where they were going is my guess.

Looks like they’ll get back to racing tonight. It would be shitty to end it this way, especially when have the crews don’t know what’s going on with scoring. It seems like Nascar just pulled some shite out of their arse. I hope it doesn’t end in this delay.

The track turns into a slimy mud that is slick. Under caution Christopher Bell spun and slid down the track when he gave it a little throttle in one of the turns.
