How many people here boo athletes?

Not boo bad plays (bad calls) or unsportsmanlike events, but just an athlete you don't like.

What a puss. It’s just the passion of the sport, they don’t really hate you George. You want to take away the passion of the sport? Say goodbye to those big paydays.

Zhou with two Q3s in a row.

Latifi makes Q3. Chalk it up to the weather.

Hoping for clear skies tomorrow so we can see some proper Silverstone Grand Prix racing.

That lap put him in front of Ham at that moment in Q.

I don't boo athletes. If I was making tens of millions to drive a car I wouldn't cry like a whiny bitch because some idiot disliked me enough to boo. If someone booed me today while i was cutting my grass I wouldn't give a shite either. I was all over the damn place and made a mess

Boo'ing a bad performance is acceptable.

I guess I don't see the crying aspect that everyone else does. He is just giving insight to how he views the situation. You'd have to wonder about the guy boo'ing your grass cutting as well.

I agree with Max, Lewis, and George that the sport would be better without it, but also it is part of almost any sport.

This booing nonsense started last year in the Netherlands with (surprise) Lewis.

Hungary.

Netherlands wasn't as bad as last year as everyone expected.

Early last year all the social media accounts for Euro athletes went dark for a weekend in an effort to bring attention to fan actions towards athletes.

I don't know if it hasn't hit America or ever will, but there appears to be some movement amoumgst Euro athletes.

Sorry just catching up on FP and Qualifying. I want to rewind to FP1/2 where, I think it was Alpine, sent parts to HQ and were allowed to "inspect" parts at HQ. The broadcast mentioned curfew for mechanics at the track but not for sending parts back.

This seems a little unsporting to allow some teams additional HQ support while at BGP. I know some teams HQ is within 30 mins of Silverstone, with Aston across the highway. Are there no regulations for this?

They can only control the track/paddock. Have no doubt that the teams are putting in 18 hour days on race weekends, they just aren't within the confines of the track.

Forgot the team, but a few years back they were sending multiple private jets across the atlantic with part upgrades depending on what they saw during practice sessions.

Hamilton posted a pic from the simulator Thursday or Friday night, no doubt using info they found to see if they can decrease the turnaround time.

August usually has a two week dead period for all teams, which is supposedly strictly enforced. Other than that they burn the candle at both ends. It has improved since the days of constant testing then race on the weekends.

It looks pretty dry right now. Anyone heard weather reports for the race?
