Is it really true that Max's current girlfriend is Piquet's daughter or granddaughter? Imagine if this news had come out last year when Max and Lewis were fighting for the championship. The drama going into Abu Dhabi would be even more intense.

Daughter.
I think Max met Nelson for the first time last year in Brazil for the GP.

So as it stands Mercedes produces a reliable car and the @fia and @F1 decided to change the rule to allow PU changes and repairs, now I don't see any team principal crying about fia favouring one particular team when they failed to build a reliable car, the agenda is real #F1

What's going on here? Anybody have more info on this?

I believe all of these are voted on by teams, not 100% on that though.

In the wake of a spate of reliability failures by teams this year, it was agreed that the rules regarding the current power unit limits would be amended.
Firstly, F1 teams will be allowed to swap power units under parc ferme conditions for newer versions that have been put into their pool.
Previously, any chance of specification of a car component that is replaced in parc ferme automatically required cars to start from the pitlane.
This tweak will be welcome for those squads that are juggling only a few components in their engine pool and have introduced upgraded parts.
I believe all of these are voted on by teams, not 100% on that though.

Umm I've posted two times in this thread since I was told that my opinion didn't matter (One to say how much I enjoyed the Canadian race and this last one you responded to).
quote:Clearly. That's why you're still bringing it up unprovoked weeks after the fact.
Didn't bother me
My point is either join up and post about F1 or shut up and be the victim you want to be. Being a passive aggressive 15 year old girl about an interaction that happened forever ago is annoying.

Rule changes re: engine repairs were likely drafted by F1 in consultation with the manufacturers and subsequently approved by FIA. I think racefans.net has the most accurate and timely F1 news.
British GP will be a spectacle this year - Charlie for the win.

Looks like a "Big" movie remake where the main character is in mid-shrink at the end of the movie.

Like I said, i've mentioned it TWO times since. And told you to go look at my post history and try and say otherwise. Much less doing it for months so stfu with your made up gripe.
Edit: Just wanted to check for myself to make sure i wasn't complaining.
A month ago i said I wasnt going to post in this thread anymore. A few weeks ago I commented after the Canadian GP, and then yesterday. I don't know how that could be considered "beating a dead horse, me posting about it every time you check in, it's been literal months, I won't shut up about it. I guess those two sentences over the past month were the only times I guess you've checked in

Lewis saying that he doesn't think old F1 voices such as Piquet should have a platform. I wonder if that should apply to him whenever he retires, I doubt it.

Had he just said the 1st part, it worked. "these people" can be people that say racist stuff. I'd agree, don't give them a platform.
But then making the generality that basically just all old people fit that mold and shouldn't have a voice is just absurd.
