Its Gasly's turn to complain about the bouncing...
At some point will enough drivers / GPDA complain about it that it forces FIA's hand to do something about the regs?

It is splitting hairs, but it was spelled out that the bounce wasn't the issue in Baku, but that the cars were lower and they bottomed out.
So a simple solution like vertical-g's might have more to it. The actual impact g's would have to be measured.

Red Bull have no issues because spent a ton of their budget to get rid of the porpoising probably and now want the budget cap raised.
I hope that people realise when Max lifts the trophy this season (which is obvious already) they will acknowledge he has the best car like they have accused Lewis of having to win championships.

Wonder if Pierre is playing the politics game to curry favor with Mercedes for a possible future seat.

Pierre has that seat if Lewis leaves. Not sure if Lewis does.
With Piastri looking to be at Williams next year either Danny or Gasly will probably be looking for a job. Gasly has to be leaving Red Bull, not sure if he ends up at Mclaren or if Danny leaves.

How about the drivers complain to their team.
Everyone is acting like porpoising is some new phenomenon that F1 cars discover this year. This has been around in racing ever since aero was a thing.

Looks like Merc is the only team with a real problem. That they refuse to address as they are trying to get a rule change.

Way back in the day NASCAR drivers were complaining that their cars were going too fast for safety at one of the tracks.
Bill France replied that speed was controlled with the right foot.

Would think those impacts were more than .6, or in Mercs case .65, G's.
I figured Merc and at least Sainz would be a lot worse, that graph shows 10-15% difference?

Waiting to see if everyone is caught by surprise with covid protocols and the ArriveCAN app
We're geared up and ready to go. Fly out tomorrow morning. Best news from last week was the US dropping to negative test requirement to fly back to the US. That was pretty much the only part I was worried about...having to quarantine in Canada if it was a positive test result.

Same, I just checked in to my flight. ArriveCAN all done.
Land at YUL at 10:20 AM, dropping bags off at hotel and heading to the closest open Brasserie.

Whereabouts are yall staying? Looks like we should be walking distance across part of the seaway. Near Notre Dame Basilica

One group staying at the Embassy Suites, so right next to you likely. Other at the Hyatt Downtown which is right next to Station Berri to catch the train to the track.

We're at the Doubletree airport. Getting to know the metro system now...lol

You can take the 747 Express bus from airport to Station Berri then jump on the yellow line to track I believe. Best option unless you uber to Berri. I've heard uber'ing to the track is a nightmare.

Thanks. That's the plan right now. 45-minute to an hour one way (which is much better than Austin). Here's something else I found that might be helpful (we're in Grandstand 1):
It’s a long walk from Jean Drapeau Metro station to Grandstand 1,2,11 & 12.
Here’s a tip: From Jean Drapeau Metro station you can take the 777 bus to the Casino for free & save about 1 mile of walking. If you ask the staff about the 777 bus, they will give you a vague answer. Obviously they’ve been instructed to discourage race goers from taking the 777 bus.

I'm just starting to get into F1 2021, but playing it a shite ton, so in the next week or 2 I'm going to purchase a racing wheel/stand/chair set and hopefully try to get into it a bit more.
I know iRacing is the best one going, but I wonder if there are any F1 specific type leagues?
I'm definitely not good enough now, I use a couple of assists and can still drive more erratically than I want to lol. But hopefully the wheel and more time put in can help with that.
