I know iRacing is the best one going, but I wonder if there are any F1 specific type leagues?
There are a lot of private leagues you can join. iRacing vs F1 2021 is quite a bit different though. You might have more fun looking for an F1 2021 league to join.
A wheel and pedals will make a huge difference. Way more control and much better immersion.

The slow corners are where I struggle the most with a controller where you have to turn but halfway or not fully. The fast turns aren't that bad, but I lose a lot of ground on fast circuits where you're full throttle on slight turns.

I'm reading up on F1TV Pro, couple of questions for those who have it...
You can view a "normal" view of the race and add up to 5 additional views in smaller boxes on the screen, is that correct?
If Yes above, is this only watching live? Meaning, what if I start watching 30 minutes into the race or a few hours after, can I still utilize the multi camera angles simultaneously?

I've only watched on my tv and you have 5 options to choose from, sky, F1 TV, all the drivers, tracker, and data. Not sure if you can watch concurrently. I have had two screens up one with the tracker and international up so you can see live racing with the data on another (iPad).
FYI if you change channels when "watching from start", it doesn't keep your place when moving from one channel to another. Be sure to pick a channel and stick with it the entire race if you're starting late.
edit: my grammar is terrible

I love it! heads up if you have a Sony Bravia tv: the app hasn’t been approved through their particular App Store. You can stream from your computer.
My wife usually has the mclaren app open and they transcribe the team radio calls real time.

I'm just going to have to look at my room and make space for a proper racing rig. Along with the wheel and pedals I feel like I need an adjustable cockpit made for racing or my body won't be stable enough.

I have a Roku TV as well as an Apple TV.
I'm just concerned if I don't watch live, so if I start 30 minutes after it started or if I start after it's done, can I still fire up all the different angles simultaneously and watch.

quote:I've found a couple of racing stands that are foldable, so it can easily be placed in a corner when not in use. Only thing I'm not sure about is if you have the wheel and pedals mounted to it, are they still easily foldable? I'd assume they should still be, but not sure.

Absolutely. It’s even got a feature that will not show race results until after you’ve confirmed you’ve seen the race. I’ve watched them all live so I haven’t seen the back side of that.
ETA: you can still see all the angles from recent previous races.

Plus mounting the monitors as well. Can you link the foldable setups please?

I'lll probably just do the 1 month option as a test for this weekend, then just do the full year if I like it.

At this point, you’ll spend less on a per month basis than the year subscription if you cancel at the end of the season. Can’t really see the need to continue from end of November until march.

Ah, those are just stands. I want a whole cockpit setup. Thanks.
I'm a rookie at literally all of this. I got into F1 2 weeks ago where before I had no clue about any of it. Started playing the video game at the same time as well, so I'm looking for a starter kit, if you will.
On a separate note, that shite you linked looks absolutely amazing.
