The cars are already using LIDAR laser with SPAD sensors that measure the distance of the car to the track at various points. The accuracy of the SPAD sensors reading the laser is incredible. It can provide accuracy to within 100 pico seconds (that's one-hundred trillionths of a second).
So if at a sitting position, the normal distance is measure by the length of time it takes light to travel from the car to the surface and back to the car. This is based on light has an exact speed measurement. If the car is bouncing closer to the road, the laser light doesn't have to travel as far, so the reading, in trillionths of a second can tell you with amazing accuracy the distance the car is moving up, and down at both the front and at the back, and for each tire. They already have this data.
It would be interesting to compare Red Bull's data to everyone else's to see if their mean variance is less than or greater than the rest of the field..

Would be the first winless year of his career

Ferrari tends to do much better when German, English, and French guys are in the important positions on the team.

Thanks, Obtuse1!
Speaking of, where did he go? He has been conspicuous by his absence of late in this thread.

Wait, are you suggesting he is losing races on purpose?

Ross Brawn is the best example.

Ever since Leclerc's Mille went missing....

Well, let's hope McLaren doesn't start winning on the reg anytime soon. Or else we could lost him for good. I understand he hates them with a passion

It might not be anything overt, but more subliminal. Otherwise, how to you explain the best driver from the last 8 years suddenly being beat out by Russell, who gets to the podium with consistency in the same car?

Like the podcast thing was insinuating, they aren't driving identical equipment. The two drivers are testing different setups each weekend and Hamilton has been said to be more open to experimentation; not all of which has worked.
His 19th to 5th charge should have shut down the 'He's Finished' storyline, but here it is.
Also, being equaled by George Russell isn't exactly a terrible thing. Very possible a future World Champion.

Russell is more accustomed to having to outperform a shitbox.

Plus let’s not forget Russell has been fortunate with safety cars in some races where he normally would have dropped 10ish spots for going into the pit late in the race.
Don’t get me wrong I like Russell but that’s a fact.

Agreed
Edit: to be clear I do think GR is the next number 1 driver at Merc

Air Canada is a shite show for people trying to get to Montreal. One guy has been stuck in Denver for three days and that’s the tip of the iceberg.
