RB and Ferrari seem to have figured it out, so why should the likes of Merc get an advantage bc they haven’t.
Agreed. Like they did for engine modes.
Eta, looking at Sainz they still have a way to go

F1 is allegedly carbon neutral (a whole other can of worms there), but they spend a lot of money on maintaining that.

Wonder if that takes into account all the pollution created by the tires during a race?
Recent study found that worn off tire material causes more problems than tailpipes.

I know Vettel's bitch arse won't say anything.
Climate change only happens in the Western Hemisphere, or where he can get more traction on social media for stupid stuff.
Edit: regarding bouncing I saw on Twitter that someone said FIA should have a range of bounce that teams must stay within to drive. If they are continuously exceeding that then it should be considered putting drivers at risk and DNS for the event. That would force teams to give up speed performance for bouncing, but then they would essentially be scrapping the entire design of the car or being content with the position they are in.

It doesn't. The teams are not considered F1 itself.

Is that measurable? I’m guessing since we know Gs in corners, they can monitor it vertically too?

I would imagine the telemetry they already have can see it. Those cars are loaded with impact monitors

Today I learned that black fans are convinced that Merc is experimenting with Hamilton's car and treating Lewis like a crash test dummy all to benefit Russell.

Their suspicions aren't wrong. Their conclusions are.
Merc has come out and said that Lewis is way more open to experimental setups so he is getting them.
Lewis probably doesn't see much difference in 2nd and 8th.

Agree, Ricky Bobby it.
Has he even been on podium this year?

May be his only podium of year if FIA doesn’t cower and change the rules. Merc will have to change specs and reduce performance so they don’t break him.

Would be the first winless year of his career

Barring Max taking out Charles and Sainz taking out Checo… then Russel’s tires exploding, I don’t see it happening.

What would be your definition of reasonable?
I cant define it, know it when I see it. I am having trouble accepting I paid under 400 each in Singapore and Austin in 2018, I kind of set the reasonable bar at 2x that now... for a seat instead of GA and probably not Turn 19.

Not too bad for Canada, paid $400 through the offical GP outlet. Resold two today for $600, so the market isn't that inflated.

Lewis Hamilton not getting whatever the frick he wants from Mercedes is the most asinine comment I’ve ever read. Toto would let him bang Susie if he wanted.

What’s wrong with Ferrari?
