In a perfect world seager moves to 3rd and Turner is at short but the red turner really has nowhere else to go in that situation

Carrillo is the final piece.
Big arm, little body. RHP who was about 155 pounds at the end of last year. Supposedly up to 170 now. 5'10. He's 22 1/2 years old and can reach 100 MPH. He's at AA right now. Interesting prospect

Hell yeah. Miller is our best pitching prospect IMO and Pepiot may end up being as good as Gray.

If this is the deal: Ruiz, Gray, Carrillo and Casey, I'm beyond stoked

Is Scherzer one of the best free agency signings? Brings the Nationals a World Series title, puts a ton of relevance to the team, and then brings them in a nice haul alongside Turner

Good to see the Nats finally commit to sucking. Let’s just tear off that Halloween mask and admit what we are: confused.

I didn’t see them trading away Turner. I’m a bit in shock they traded both of them.

I don’t know much about the prospect haul they got in return. Seems a bit sus.

Yes, Randy Johnson might be the only better signing but if these prospects hit I don’t think Randy signing can touch it. Maddux was close but he went back to the Cubs in FA.

Turner was being difficult in negotiations and they probably saw another Harper situation playing out

And i still dont have a great handle on when he will actually be available. Since he tested positive on Tuesday, he still has like a week at least right?

Damn that’s already an elite offense

White Sox and Red Sox improved today. Stros biggest weakness was obviously bullpen and has been (partially, hopefully) addressed but the AL playoffs should be a ton of fun to watch

Not sure I trust Boston’s rotation in a 7 game series unless Sale is able to come back and get into peak form over the next 2 months (he returns in like a week I think)

Dodgers will have Max, Kershaw, Buehler, Price, Duffy, Gonosolin, Urias as possible starters for the playoffs.....
