Cano will not put on the Mets uniform again

Lindor looks like a bust in his first season in NY continuing a 3-year trend of declining stats.

Hope you're right about Cano.

I'll worry about Lindor's stats next year. I discount all starts from last year due to the short season, Covid, Etc. and even Beltran's stats were off his first season in New York.

Dude will be 39 years old with 2 year's left, they will release him eating the salary owed or try to trade him while eating most.
Of the 24 million owed to him each of the next two years the M's are paying 4m each season. So the Mets owe 20m or so. If the Mets are willing to eat most of that I'm sure they could find a trading partner or they will do with him like the Yankees did with ARod/Ellsbury

I'm looking at the White Sox and they have to be the AL favorite right now

Rotation of Rondon, Lynn, Giolitto, Keuchel, and Cease
Bullpen of Kimbrel, Hendricks, Kopech, Tepera, Lopez

Then one of the better offenses in baseball... They get a lead in the playoffs they will shut the door down in the 7,8,9 innings

Wait wait wait you’re saying Houston’s strategy of getting a big lead and then having the bullpen do everything in its power to give it up isn’t the path to success?

Well it is a solid strategy but not one I would count on moving forward

Interesting, I had to look up Fowler as I never knew he was that big

Me either, just saw it on MLB Network the other night after Gallo was traded

Tbh I knew Bryant was big but prob would’ve guessed 6’3 or 6’4
