Jumbo would have been an absolute menace with healthy Roglic

Tadej PogArmstrong

This is just dumb at this point. He could’ve won by 5 minutes if he wanted to

Vingegaard looks like he might die while Pogi looks like he could head out for another loop

He looks like he could have kept up that pace for another 100km

Maybe because of the early crashes but this has been a very anti-climatic Tour. Pog is on another "level".

I still think last year's Tour was one of my favorites. The riding, the tactics, the race, the excitement... our TdF thread.

Read the interview from Cofidis before the Tour

quote:

What are the team’s main aims?
Simply put – to win a stage of the Tour de France.

From the Cofidis’ point of view, are there any standout stages of this year’s Tour de France?
Of course, the goal for every climbing stage will be to win, starting with the first mountainous stage that finishes at Le Grand Bornand [the 150.8km eighth stage that starts from Oyonnax and features five categorised climbs]. We’re also confident that the skill and tactical acumen of Laporte can help us to a sprint win.

Why would Sepp lead out for UAE if he is Jumbo? What am I missing here?

He wasnt’t he was trying to lead out his teammate who is currently in 2nd in the GC and proxy-white jersey wearer.
But nobody in the cycling universe can hang with Pog right now.
He was toying with everyone and probably could’ve sprinted 5k more

Pog is just on a completely different level than everyone else in the tour. Roglic/Jumbo would have been fun to see, but I think it would have played out similar to last year.

I don’t understand Alaphilippe. Dude goes out on his own every stage up front and then bonks heavily. I understand DQS is riding for Cav but damn, what is JA’s purpose?

To get on TV.

He's marketing himself in the tradition of Virenque and Voeckler to keep the role of France's media darling.
