Unbelievable.

I think we went through this in the Masters thread. But, it boggles my mind that he contends when he is not a big hitter and doesn't putt well. But, he is otherwise a short game wizard, right?

Well that didn't age well. He only went 5 under on the back.

He's above average off the tee in length. Him being short is just as big of a myth that his putter won him his majors. Dude absolutely strikes the shite out of the ball.

I think we need a first tee announcer with a little less juice.

Sounds like he's delivering a eulogy.

He started on the back. So the comment I was addressing was when he was completing the back and going to the front. Maybe I misunderstood what the OP was trying to say.

Morikawa just grounded his club like 4 times in the bunker. Is that allowed?

Yeah, the way people think of him can be incredibly misleading. Obviously he’s a great putter, but when he lost his game it’s because he went from being a top 5-10 ball striker on Tour to outside the top 150.

He finished 3rd in the Masters finishing 50th out of 54 people who made the cut in SG: Putting. He’s hit the ball so well this year.

They’re all called Sandy Areas this week.

Grounding your club is allowed.

Way over

JMO, and I’m sure it will be bumped when I’m wrong, but I don’t think he finishes in the top 30.

Cameron Tringale (who started the day at -2) just went quintuple, quadruple on 16 & 17.

Now at +9.

Not really. He's good from 25 feet, but that's about it. Exceptionally average other than that.

He’s finished inside the top 10 of SG: Putting 3 out of the last 6 years. That is very good.
