Driving distances are crazy long this day and age. Ball and club technology are a big reason but Tiger Woods changed the mindset of pro golfers WRT training. Dudes are ripped and cranking shots onto par 4 and par 5 greens from the tee now.

Phil's round is being underrated here. This course is kicking everyone who started out within five shots of the lead's arse all over South Carolina. Mickelson is the only one who started out -2 or better who is even close to par on his round.
