Toyota has the best cars for this Sunday's race. I would rank Kyle 3rd among those.

I'd like to see him w/SHR. Roush ain't what they used to be in the 90's-mid 00's. He deserves to be in a top-ride w/teammates that won't treat him shitty and aren't dbags like Logano. Harvick& Ku.Busch fit that bill.

I wonder what penske will do with the void left by keslowski. Cindric is officially coming up to the wood bros 21, so Matty d's days are numbered there. Do they move him up to the 2? Matt has little to no money that comes with him (at least to my knowledge) but has strong fan support.
Do they bring up a driver from within the Ford ranks (not too much there to choose from imo): Alfredo, herbst, deegan (SLIM PICKINGS HERE)
Or do they bring in a driver from a different manufacturer: john hunter nemechek (ford last year in FRM 38 but toyota this year in KBM 4), Tyler Reddick (RCR chevy), harrison burton (joe gibbs xfinity but daddy burton was a Ford guy to begin his career), or the old dog Kurt Busch who is a free agent at season end (won the championship with Ford before his fall, now with chevy)
After writing all of this, it seems to me like Matty D is in the driver seat, but money does talk...

Cindric is running for the Xfinity Series championship. He’s running a limited Cup schedule this year, full-time Cup next year.

They didn’t qualify this week, and won’t most weeks. They are only doing qualifying and practice this year for the Daytona 500, races on new tracks or tracks with changed formats (like Bristol on dirt), and the championship race at Phoenix. I think they’re using a performance metric to determine starting lineups for all other races.
