Yeah with his injury history there’s no way I want Donaldson for that. Braves should trade for Arenado.

Nationals have inked veteran reliever David Hernandez, according to the Baseball America transactions log. (BA stalwart Matt Eddy has handed the controls over to Chris Hilburn-Trenkle.)

This looks like something from The Onion.

The New York Post reported Friday that the fractured ankle Cespedes suffered in the spring came from a bizarre incident the injury-plagued outfielder had with an animal at his ranch in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
News of the injury itself isn't new. Mets general manager Brodie Van Wagenen told reporters in May that Cespedes suffered multiple right ankle fractures in what he called a "violent" fall on the outfielder's ranch that was not baseball-related. Details of what happened hadn't come out until the Post's story Friday, however.
Citing multiple sources, the newspaper reported that Cespedes caught a wild boar in one of several traps he sets up at his ranch to keep the animals away from people. In this case, the boar was taken out of the trap and "either charged toward Cespedes or startled him," per the Post, causing him to step into a hole and fracture the ankle.

Nationals have signed a lot of INF pieces in case they miss out on Donaldson. I assume Kieboom gets a chance with Zimmerman/Kendrick at 1B then 2B they could have Castro/Kendrick/Cabrera and 3B run Cabrera/Kieboom depending on how everything shakes out

The Yankees have hired highly respected performance coach Eric Cressey to oversee their strength and conditioning and training departments. Cressey works with Max Scherzer, Corey Kluber, others. LINK

So who is left?
Donaldson is the big fish then you have Puig, Ozuna, Castellanos, Hudson, Chirnos, Thames, Moreland, Bird, Holy, Kipnis, Zobrist, Frazier, Ellabury, Maybin, Nova, Cashner, Hernandez, Smyly, LeBlanc, Sabchez, Walker and several other people.... Anyone major I'm missing?

I don’t think it would be a terrible contract considering the NL East may swing on whoever signs him. It’s a perfect storm for Donaldson with 2 teams in the same division bidding for him in an offseason that has set the precedent for big dollar contracts.
Another factor driving the price up is that whoever doesn’t sign him will have to give up prospects in a trade to fill the need at third base. You would essentially be paying extra to not give up prospects.

If signing him for 4 years 110 million results in a World Series during the first two years (or later when he sucks) it is worth it

Jose Iglesias will be a good fit for the Orioles, and his deal (1 year/$3M, with a 2021 option that would make the deal worth 2 years/$6M) could give Baltimore a good trade chip this summer.

Another 10 million spent on two more players, they've spent 314.6 million this off-season already.
