The Indians are telling clubs interested in trading for Lindor that they want each team’s best and final offers so they can make an assessment over the weekend.

Braves could and should make a move for Lindor. Dream off season that isn't a pipe dream for teams not owned by Liberty media would be:
Resign Josh.

Trade Dans, inciarte(one of pache or waters would be a tough call with only 2 years of control), Riley, and Wright for Lindor and a prospect if we could squeeze it.

Then sign a free agent outfielder. And a really don't see this as a must.

Imagine that lol. A Freeman, Albies, Lindor, Donaldson infield. And if we get any improvement out of the young starters, that's a world series favorite roster.

Supposedly, insiders think a Donaldson deal is coming soon. Reading the tea leaves on this one, it seems like the Nats have offered him a deal and Donaldson is giving the Braves a chance to match it. The deal is probably a year longer and a few million dollars more than AA is comfortable with, so he's exploring options before making the final call.

High-ranking exec predicts that both Betts and Lindor will be traded this winter. Thinks it makes sense for both Red Sox and Indians to turn page, capitalize on value that is more likely to depreciate in the months ahead as Betts, Lindor edge toward free agency

This is why AA kept all those damn prospects. He can predict the future.

Rockies fan? Big rangers fan here and I’m praying to god we get Arenado. Would immediately make us contenders again alongside Kluber. Could be blind optimism, but for some reason I’m really feeling like the rangers are going to get Arenado from the Rockies. They can take on his check, and he doesn’t want to be a part of the rebuild in Colorado. Rangers would most likely give up a couple of their top prospects like Brock Burke, and Sam Huff, but hell if we can get Arenado you do that shite in a second IMO.

Yeah, that's why I am loathing it. I hope he stays. He has rejuvenated baseball up here. They shouldn't have let DJ go...that much is obvious. I am hoping he stays. He signed the contract knowing what was going on so hopefully his heart is still in it with the Rockies. We will see. Regardless of what happens, he will always have my respect.

Ryan was supposed to be the next big thing and better than DJ. Of course he still has time since he is so young.

What's the story behind that? How were they able to do that?
