He was leading when the crash occurred. Crossed the finish line in the air or on his top. Probably not in 1st at the point.

Yeah, I dislike Hamlin as much as the next guy, but what do you do? Hindsight is that NASCAR should have stepped in and told them to get to pit road when they were on the backstretch, but there’s A LOT of moving parts going in that situation. It’s just a bad deal.

Blaney was out of shape from a shot from Hamlin and wasn't really in control when he gave Newman a shove. Ended up turning him.
No ones fault except the Nascar rules that makes them race this way.
