They offered what amounts to basically a 5% raise and the DH, which they also want, and are pissed the players didnt give them expanded playoffs that they dominate the TV revenue for

The big issue is that they're offering things that can be negotiated separately but they want the union to reopen things that have already been decided. That gives the owners the power to pull the plug on everything at any time.
Jon Heyman is a owner mouthpiece and a douchebag for questioning why the union never gave a counter offer. A counter offer alone would have given the owners the ability to shut everything down.
