I mean it's not they have been one of, if not the, most well run organizations in all of sports under friedman

Hes going to the mets. Every agent floats the dodgers around riiiight at the end of every major negotiation just to see if they can get a little more. That's whats happening here

The dodger site I read has a poster who is with Farhan Zaidi and he still posts on the board from time to time. Basically said Bauer wants to come home but the angels have passed and the dodgers just aren't offering more than one year. Wonder how accurate that is but you'd think front offices would know some stuff even if they aren't actively involved like the giants

Baseball people are probably anticipating another lost revenue season and no one wants to pull the plug

Mets potential rotation?

deGrom
Bauer
Thor
Stroman
Carrasco

Switch Thor & Stroman, probably. I don’t think Thor will be ready for opening day, I read May/June.

After the All-Dtar break but will be on a pitch count/innings limit so he and Stroman will probably rotate out starts with one pitching as a starter in between

Dexter Fowler to the Angels

good riddance

As the former St.Louis Post Disgrace reporter said, "Fowler, the Last to the ball park and 1st one out".

St.Louis ownership ran him out of town and back to Texas, after he set the story of Fowler being a horrible team mate out. They created this fictitious character who was always smiling and such a great team mate. When he was a Cub, Madden had to treat him like he was a child, because he was a man child who whined and cried about everything.

Mo'ron might of done his best work with this deal.

It was literally impossible to get rid of Fowler, even eating ALL of his contract, and thankfully Artie is the moron yet again.

Gave Pujols that horrible contract, now takes Fowler on. LOL
