He's from little rock and they need scoring. Would be a good fit. Not good enough to get them out of rd 2 though.

Does anyone think the clips and mavs will essentially swap centers?
If I'm doc, I rather have Chandler (worse rebounder, older, but just as efficient and a 75% FT shooter, better defensive player) at 1/5 of the price. I can see them signing Chandler to a 3yr/$24M deal, to finish off his career in his hometown of LA

I wouldn't mind for the Lakers to sign Chandler if they strike out on the big name big men.

Yeah. The difference between Chandler and Jordan was very apparent during the playoffs this year.

Lakers fixing to strike out on everyone...

Just like they did last year. No one wants to go play with Kobe and that shite head Byron Scott. The sooner the media and lakers fans realize this the better
Only person who wants to go there is Rondo and he is a shithead

LaMarcus Aldridge:
"The Lakers are moving up his list as reported last week, Aldridge is giving the Lakers a long look. But League Insiders say that San Antonio is the team best positioned to get Aldridge. Toronto emerged today that will get a visit, the Knicks are in the mix as well. Houston is trying to get in that mix exploring some trade options."

My point exactly. I'd love him as a second or third wheel but he ain't no superstar

I do wonder how much California having the highest income tax in the country could be affecting their ability to lure free agents versus somewhere like Houston or Dallas with no state income tax.
That is a large chunk of change for these guys

thats probably the second biggest hit against us after being coached by byron scott

Yeah if you include that with the national rate they basically have to give away half of their paycheck.

Dunc'd On Basketball Pod: A Mock Offseason
Very good listen
quote:
In this episode, host Nate Duncan (@NateDuncanNBA), Daniel Leroux of RealGM (@DannyLeroux) and Dan Feldman of NBC Sports' Pro Basketball Talk (@DanFeldmanNBA) conduct a mock offseason.
The three conduct negotiations with the top 30 free agents, working within the real constraints of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (salary cap, etc).
Very good listen

You can laugh all you want but I mean who was the last big free agent yall got?
Got an injured Dwight for one year and a 36 year old Steve Nash.
I guess Jeremy Lin counts for something huh??

Do you really think Kobe adds more than he takes away at this point in his career? He's an inefficient chucker, if I were a Lakers fan I'd definitely hope this was his last season. You can get rid of him and Scott in the same offseason, and hope that you can lure free agents there with a good coaching hire and a ton of cap space to work with.

More like third. Let's not forget that the Lakers are, you know, a terrible team.
