The cowboys current starting oline features 2 of the 5 starters from Elliot's rookie year.

Same OL between 2015 and now? No, not at all.

Doug Free retired, Tyron Smith has habitual injuries which have hampered his effectiveness, and Travis Frederick is done for the year with some sort of sickness.

Starting center has been out much of the year and Smith has missed a few games

Again, Fournette has the 2nd most runs against 8 man boxes over the last 2 seasons... and he has missed 10 games.

He averages 4.1 yards per carry against those 8-man boxes.

For comparison:

YPC vs 8-man fronts over the last two seasons

LeVeon Bell: 3.4
Saquon Barkley: 2.9
Phillip Lindsay: 2.9
Kareem Hunt: 2.8
Joe Mixon: 2.7
Todd Gurley: 2.5
Melvin Gordon: 2.5
Christian McCaffrey: 2.4

Troll on though

Why does he average less ypc with less guys in the box then?

He hasn't averaged 4ypc yet for either of his seasons.

4ypc is the standard for an average back. He is what the numbers say he is. Below average.

Not even close.

Trent Richardson is the most high profile draft pick bust as a RB I've ever seen.

Forget YPC...dude spent his life doing spin-moves to avoid tackles because he couldn't find a hole to save his life. He was used to the parting of the Red Sea at Alabama.

He wasn't used to real football.

He ran as if his O-lines a-hole was his running lane.

And to add ammo to how great Nick Saban is...he drafted Tommy Vardell 9th in the NFL draft. A fricking fullback 9th overall.

He had 3 TDs during his entire NFL career. Great coach.

Trent Richardson, worst vision since Michael Haddix who loved the ground...

It's amazing how you can be awesome in college (his coach included) and yet totally suck at pure football at the highest level when recruiting to a big name doesn't factor (his coach included.)

How the frick did Saban draft this guy?

Saban was the DC

The guy ran for over 1000 yards in his first 2 seasons. Had a near career ending knee injury early on, and still managed to play 8 years in the league. He was the FB for Barry Sanders when he ran for 2000+ yards.

Your Alabama had renders you retarded at times

He literally posted this recently:

quote:

Just feel good knowing on your deathbed you won't give a shite about any of this and wish you had had more enlightened and productive obsessions during lifetime.

And in 100 years nobody is going to give a rat's arse about this sport.

You're literally devoting your life to something that won't mean jack squat very soon and doesn't mean jack squat in the grand scheme of things right now.

It's just entertainment, stop taking it so seriously.

Yet, here he is, obsessing over Saban for going on 20+ years...

easy to say but that was a playoff team last year...not your typical jags excuse plus Derrick Henry is owning him with an equally bad line

How did Saban draft a FB? He was the DC under Belichick

Also it was 1992 or something. Not quite AS dumb as taking this guy in 2018.

I think this guy does hardcore drugs or something. He'll normal one day and then BONKERS the next.

Why is that obsessing?

Responding to a thread?

Pointing out a fact when someone says Fournette is Richardson?

Seems like a reach dude. A desparte reach.

There's so much hyperbole by fans, nothing wrong with pointing out facts...it just happens most hyperbole is from Alabama fans.

If Clemson fans on this board pulled the same shite, I'd call them out to. History is history. Facts are facts. I post history and facts to refute grandizing and love fests and stuff people forgot about.

Like how Trent Richardson sucked. And the Colts trading for him was one of the worst decisions ever.

If you disagree, more power to your football knowledge of how great he is.

I guess you see something in him with the Birmingham Iron that we don't.

The idea that Fournette was Trent Richardson 2.0 is ridiculous. Only an Alabama fan would defend that post and they did, as you saw.

Trent Richardson is not the worst running back of all-time, he's the worst over-hyped running back of all-time and over-hyped because of Bama...nothing he did in the NFL.

Dude couldn't get off the practice squad his 4th year in the league and then he was out of the league.

Unless Fournette drops off the face of the earth, I'm pretty sure he can make a practice squad.

fournette has gotten too heavy and stiff, needs to lose weight to regain quickness like in college, derrick henry has done the opposite, was too heavy and stiff in college, he has found quickness with the titans by losing some weight...
