Will never be the RB he was projected to be in NFL...has no instinctual running abilities and can’t find the holes when blocking is sufficient. 2015 Auburn game was
His SwanSong.

I’d maybe like to see him in a competent offense before I make This call.

He went to the NFL version of LSU.

His problem is he ran a lot behind a FB at LSU, but very few NFL teams even carry a FB.

The FB helped his lack of vision. You don't have to find a whole when you run behind a lead back.

I hate on him just to mess with y'all.

But I think he would be a BEAST in a good offense.

He'll be fine just on his athletic ability alone.

I always thought Guice was a better RB. Better vision and more elusive.

LF7 or Dalvin Cook, both haven't been worth the high draft pick.

This

He was 5th in the NFL in 8+ man boxes last season, and he's 3rd this season. No other player has been in the top 5 both seasons.

The fact that Fournette sees that many 8 man boxes and Bortles STILL can't pass for shite just makes Bortles that much worse, which almost seems impossible.

I would throw out any stats for a team who is starting two OLINE players who the GIANTS cut. Including Eric Flowers who may be the worst left tackle of all time

I have always said if he had Guices vision he would be an absolute animal.

Both will be good players. Cook is in a much better system. Fournette does need a decent line or qb to help. His biggest attributes to me are the power, speeding and burst after his first couple steps. He's lacking the explosive first step. Plus he always runs against a stacked box.

He's also a pretty good receiver but doesnt get used much

can’t find the holes

If you watched the game you’d know there were no holes.

The QB play on that team is terrible and the defenses line up accordingly.

Todd Gurleys 2nd year stats FWIW

278 attempts/885 yards/3.2 avg/ 6 TDs for a 4 win Jeff Fisher team

LF currently is 104/350/3.4 avg/4 TDs for a Cody kessler/Blake bortles lead 4 win team currently

Only difference between the two seasons has been injury. Which would be the actual worry I would have with LF more so than his production. Soft tissue injuries ruined Darren mcfaddens career in a similar way. Hope that doesn’t happen to LF

Would like to see LF in a better system before we throw the towel in on him like some people did on Gurley during that season.
