Ohio State’s defense was awesome.

Kellen Winslow, Jr: maybe the biggest talent in the game but definitely the biggest piece of shite

Allen made the right play. Unfortunately that foot was planted.

Can someone explain to me why Jarrett Payton was #2 on Miami's depth chart and not Frank Gore?

I felt like they were starting to get that run game going and potentially pull away and then bam.
i don't think it's remotely fair to say they were potentially pulling away as they were down 3 in the 4th quarter. maybe they score on that drive, but definitely not pulling away.

Gore tore his ACL that year.

lol at Fouts praising Maurice Clarett's maturity.
And I still can't believe USC hired a crappy sideline reporter as AD.

It's crazy how Miami won 4 of their 5 NCs against Nebraska iirc
When Osborne got his first title it was against Miami, it was also their 1st bowl win since beating LSU in the '87 Sugar Bowl.
From 1980-1995 the only school Nebraska beat in a bowl game was LSU.
The next 15 years they won 10 bowl games and 3 national champions.
Two bowl wins since 2010 including the famous Foster Farms Bowl in 2015.

There’s about to be a catch on the sideline that was ruled incomplete that would have ended the game in regulation.

And Gamble was held like three times on that play too.
Funny how nobody ever remembers that play isn't it?
Also about 2 or 3 days after this game was the only Browns playoff game since returning in '99 where they blew a 21 pt lead to Tommy Maddox and the Steelers. Talk about going from the highest to lowest of emotions in one weekend.
