Exactly it should’ve been an interception. Absolute bullshite by the refs. They need to read their rule book.

missed fumble and delay of game. Lots of calls going OSU's favor.
Posted on 10/31/26 at 7:01 pm to catholictigerfan
if they let it play out it's 14-3 USC, instead OSU punting.
Posted on 10/31/26 at 7:02 pm to catholictigerfan
Hard to describe OSU.

Here’s the exact NCAA ruling.
NCAA Rule 7-3-6, Approved Ruling XV
The rule distinguishes two situations:
Toe drags in bounds before the receiver falls out: Completed pass.
Toe touches in bounds, then heel lands on the sideline in one continuous motion: Incomplete pass.
The NCAA explains that the continuous toe-to-heel landing is treated as a single process. Therefore, the receiver is considered to have landed out of bounds. ?
Bottom line: Even in college football, where only one foot is required in bounds, a toe touching first does not automatically establish a catch if the heel subsequently lands out of bounds during the same landing motion.

What horseshite call will we see on this drive?

Here's what the 2026 NCAA rule book says, quoted word for word.
Rule 2-4-3-a: what a catch is. To catch a ball means that a player:
"Secures firm control with the hand(s) or arm(s) of a live ball in flight before the ball touches the ground, and
Touches the ground inbounds with any part of the body, and then
Maintains control of the ball.
